First General Meeting & Research Panel

This was the Rice Examiner’s first ever general meeting. At this meeting we had a panel of social science professors discuss their work, the importance of social science research, and answer student questions! We also talked about our organization, how to get involved, and paper submissions we had received so far.
Also, we had cookies for everyone!

 

4/6/2018:

Pizza and Publication Launch:

The Rice Examiner celebrated the completion of its first annual journal with pizza for everyone! We held a raffle to give out physical copies of our journal and told people more about our organization. Sarah Smati and Alex Hwang both won copies!

 

4/12/2018:

Java & Journals and Club Fair:

The Rice Examiner showed off its very first publication for the first time! We had physical copies for people and potential future-Examiners to look at/read. We interacted with many prospective students who we hope might join our team next year!
